I am not a sophisticated cook. Let's face it, I barely knew what saffron was until a few months ago. My enlightenment only came about after hanging out in the spice aisle in Costco.
I do not have buyer's remorse. In fact, I am terribly excited about my purchase of Saffron. I brought it home, gazed at it, and talked about it with anyone who would listen. Then I googled it. Wow, "derived from the flower of Crocus sativus." What could be better?
Now, I just need a recipe.
