Sarah, my sixteen year old daughter, loves asian recipes. She likes her recipes filled with spices and hot peppers. Her desire to research recipes and see them come alive in the kitchen is something I want to nurture. On the other hand, I don't relish the thought of hot peppers and hot oil flying all over the kitchen. So, we took her Asian cooking outside.
It was a beautiful fall evening up here in Pure Michigan. We are still having a warm spell. This puts a little damper on the fall show but we still had a lot of color in the back fields.
The recipe Sarah chose to work with is General Tso's Chicken. It was an easy recipe for her to follow. The directions were clear and worked as written. Because of our larger crowd, she was able to double it without any problem.
If you would like the recipe go directly to Rasa Malasia.
We'll just give you a quick pictorial of Sara's outside cooking adventure with General Tso's Chicken.
